Shethenproudlyservedhercountryforthelast11yearsasgeneraldentistintheNavy. ShegainedextensiveexperienceinOperativeDentistry,Oralsurgery,Endodontics,OrofacialPain,Prosthodontics,andPeriodonticsandhadtheopportunitytobementoredbythebestNavydentalspecialistsinbothSanDiegoandWashingtonD.C.ShecompletedaGeneralPracticePostdoctoralResidencyProgramatBalboaNavalHospitalinSanDiegoCaliforniain2011.  SheservedasadentistonboardTheUSSCarlVinsonAircraftCarrierandworkedinavarietyofnavaldentalclinicsthroughouttheSanDiegoareafrom2011-2016.  ShewasevenawardedthecareerhighlightofservingontheUSNSMercyHospitalShipastheDepartmentHead. In2015Dr.RedgatewasselectedtoserveastheDentalDepartmentHeadforthehumanitarianmissionPacificPartnership.  AsDepartmentHead,sheledamultinationalteamofactivedutyandciviliandentalprofessionals,including37dentists,2hygienists,and42dentalassistantsandprovideddentaltreatmentforwellover6,000underservedpatientsinthehostnationsofFiji,PapuaNewGuinea,ThePhilippines,andVietnam.  In2016shewasselectedfortheComprehensiveDentistryPostgraduateResidencyProgramlocatedattheprestigiousNavalPostgraduateDentalSchool/WalterReedArmyMedicalCenterinBethesdaMaryland.  SheearnedherComprehensiveDentistryCertificationin2018andaMasterofScienceinOralBiologyfromtheUniformedServicesUniversityoftheHealthSciences(USUHS).  MostrecentlypriortocomingtoRadiantSmilesshewastheDentalDepartmentHeadatBranchDentalClinicMonterey,locatedontheNavalPostgraduateSchoolCampusinbeautifulMonterey,Californiawheresheprovidedcomprehensivedentalservicestoover1300activedutyAirforce,Navy,CoastGuard,Army,andforeignmilitaryservicemenandwomen.
