EligibilityandRequirements: NYMEXRule106.J.Membership HedgeFunds,commoditypools,banks,futurescommissionmerchants,foreignbrokers,broker-dealers,commoditytradingadvisors,introducingbrokers,commercialentities,proprietarytradingfirmsandothercorporateentitiesareeligibleforNYMEXRule106.J.memberfirmstatus. Thememberfirmisrequiredtoownorhaveconferred/assignedtoittwoNYMEXmembershipsand6,000sharesofCMEGroup.IfthememberfirmisalsoaCMEclearingorcorporateequitymemberoraCBOTclearingorRule106.J./106.S.equitymember,itmustownorconfer/assign9,000shares.IfthememberfirmisalsoaCMEclearingorcorporateequitymemberandCBOTclearingorRule106.J./106.S.equitymember,itmustownorconfer/assign12,000shares.Themembershipandsharesmaybeownedbythememberfirmorownedbyoneortwoprincipalsoremployeesofthememberfirmorpersons,includingaparentcompany,withanacceptableproprietaryinterestinthememberfirmandassignedforthememberfirm’sprivileges. Themembershipmaybeheldbythememberfirmoraprincipaloremployeeofthememberfirmorpersonwithanacceptableproprietaryinterestinthememberfirm.Theprincipal,employeeorpersonwithanacceptableproprietaryinterestmustbeapprovedforNYMEXindividualmembership. ThememberfirmiseligibleforpreferentialExchangefeeratesforitsproprietarytradingofproducts(openauctionandelectronic)onNYMEXproductswhensuchtradingactivityisconductedinaccordancewithCMEGroupFeePolicies.Thetradingactivityofparentcompanies,affiliates,subsidiariesorcustomersofthememberfirmarenoteligibleforpreferentialExchangefeerates.
