TheAHRICertificationProgramconductsthirdpartytestingtoconfirmperformanceratingsofheatpumps,andothermechanicalsystems.TheperformanceratingsforatestedheatpumpsystemarethencertifiedintheformofanAHRIcertificateandAHRIreferencenumber. AnAHRIreferencenumberisrequiredwhenapplyingforheatpumprebatesavailablethroughtheCleanBCBetterHomesandHomeRenovationRebateProgram.TheAHRIreferencenumberforyourheatpumpsystemmustalsobefoundontheQualifyingProductList.TheAHRInumberisusedbytherebateprogramstoconfirmandvalidatethatyouhavepurchasedanenergyefficient,andrebateeligibleheatpump.
