Theemphasistheseprogramsplaceondeployingadisciplinedmanagementsystem,combinedwiththerelevantclinicalbestpractices,setsDNVGLstrokecertificationsapartfromotherprograms. HospitalsseekingandmaintainingaStrokeCenterCertificationmustparticipateintheMedicareprogramandbeincompliancewiththeCoPswhichmaybedemonstratedbymaintainingaccreditationwithDNVGLoranotherapprovedCMS-approvedaccreditationorganization.
