Ensuresthatchildrenwithdisabilitiesbepreparedforemploymentandindependentliving. Ensuresthattherightsofchildrenwithdisabilitiesandtheirfamiliesareprotectedunderthelaw. Assessesandensurestheeffortsofinstitutionsprovidingservicestopersonswithdisabilities. Providesassistancetostates,localities,federalagencies,andeducationalserviceagenciesinprovidingfortheeducationofchildrenwithdisabilities.
