Qingming Festival 清​明節

清明節在英文又被稱作掃墓節,是中國傳統節日中在農曆四月的第四或第五天。

這個節日緣起於寒食節,是由春秋時期晉文公重耳推動的節日。

有一次重耳餓昏,介之推割下自己大腿肉烤熟給他吃,重耳得以保住性命。

Customs習俗 (1)TombSweeping掃墓TombsweepingisregardedasthemostimportantcustomintheQingming Festivalfromwhichthenameoftombsweepingdayisgot.Cleaningthetomb andpayingrespecttothedeadperson.Weedsaroundthetombareclearedaway andfreshsoilisaddedtoshowcareofthedead.Thedeadperson'sfavoritefood andwinearetakentobeofferedtothem,alongwithpaperresemblingmoney.Thisisallburnedinthehopethatthedeceasedarenotlackingfoodandmoney.清明節最重要的習俗就是掃墓了，人們清洗墓碑並向現任致敬。

在墓碑旁的雜草需要被拔乾淨並換上新鮮的泥土。

也要準備一些祖先喜歡吃的事物酒和紙錢去祭拜他們。

人們希望這麼一來祖先們在天上不會缺少事物和錢。

這個傳統可以追溯到唐朝(618-907),也被之後的歷代一直延續下來了。
