AutomaticAnnealingandStrainPointDetermination Ittakes20minutestomeasuretheAnnealingandStrainPointsofaglassfiber.It'ssimple.AfterthetestfiberispulledtomeettheASTMspecifieddimensions,theoperatorsimplyplacesthefiberintothepreheatedfurnace,appliestheweight,pushestheSTARTbutton,andwalksaway.Thesystemdoestherest.Theoperatorisfreetoperformothertasks.Twentyminuteslater,theoperatorreturnsandreadstheannealingpointtemperatureonthedisplaypanel.It'sthateasy.TheSP-2A-DASautomaticallycalculatestherateofelongationanddisplaystheannealingpointtemperaturewhicheliminatesoperatordifferences,judgements,anderrors.IfanindependentcomputersystemisconnectedtotheSP-2A-DAS,boththeannealingandstrainpointtemperaturesarecalculatedanddisplyedonthecomputer'smonitor.Thesystemautomaticallymeasuresandrecordstherateofelongationandappliesnon-arbitrarymathematicalalgorithmstoextrapolatethestrainpointtemperaturesooperatordifferences,interpretations,judgments,anderrorsareeliminated.TheModelSP-2A-DASisaFAST,EASY,ACCURATE,RELIABLE,andREPRODUCIBLEmethodforQCchecksonbatchchemistrychanges.ThissystemiscomprisedoftheASTMspecifiedfurnacetoheatthefiber;theOrtonPIDcontrollertooperatethefurnaceaccordingtotheASTMC336thermalcycle,samplesupportsystemwithsampleloadrodandweight,anLVDTsystemtocontinuouslymonitorthefiberelongation,theOrtononboardcomputerwithinternallogictodeterminetheannealingpoint,digitaldisplaypanelfordisplayingtheannealingpointtemperature,andsoftwareforanindependentcomputer(providedbythepurchaser).OperationThesystemisinitiallyheatedtoanequilibriumsoaktemperature25°Cbelowtheexpectedannealingpoint,andwaitsforthenexttest.Afterthefiberisinsertedandtheweightapplied,theSTARTbuttonispushedandtheOrtoncontrollerheatsthefurnaceat5ºCperminute.ThetemperatureandLVDTsignalsoftheelongatingfiberarecapturedbythecontroller'sonboardcomputer,wheretheelongationrateiscalculatedandmonitored.Oncetheelongationrateexceeds0.60millimetersperminute,theOrtoncontrollercoolsthefurnaceat4°Cperminute.Whilethefurnaceiscooling,thetemperatureandLVDTsignalsarecapturedbythecontroller'sonboardcomputerforstorage.Oncetheelongationratefallsbelow0.10millimetersperminute,thetestisconcludedandtheannealingpointtemperature(elongationrateof0.14millimeters/minute)isdisplayedontheconsoledisplayuntilthesystemisreset.Thefurnaceautomaticallycoolstothesoaktemperatureinabout15minutes,andisreadyforthenexttest.Theonboardcomputercanstoredataforupto10tests.Ifdesired,aseparate,independentcomputersystem(notincluded)canbeconnectedtotheOrtoncontrollerconsoleviaaRS232portforrealtimemonitoringandanalysis.Duringthetestthefiberelongationrate,time,andtemperaturearedisplayedonthemonitorandstoredontheharddriveinatextfile.Attheconclusionofthetest,thesoftwareautomaticallyandimmediatelycalculatestheannealingpointtemperature(elongationrateof0.14millimeters/minute)andtheextrapolatedstrainpointtemperature(elongationrate0.0316timestheannealingpointrate,or0.004424millimeters/minute)accordingtotheASTMC336algorithms.Or,ifpreferred,aseparate,independentcomputersystem(notincluded)canbeconnectedtotheOrtoncontrollerconsoleviaaRS232portafterthetestisconcluded.ThedatastoredbytheOrtononboardcomputeristransferredtotheindependentcomputer'sharddriveintextfileformatforlaterindependentreview,analysis,orpermanentstorage. 　 ModelSP-2A-DASSpecifications/玻璃徐冷點及應變點試驗儀器技術規格: SampleSize 508mmlongby0.65mmdiameter(perASTMC336) MaximumTemperature 800°C HeatingElement KanthalA-1 TemperatureControlSystem PID-Automatic ElongationTrackingSystem LVDT-Automatic DataAcquisition&Display Automatic PowerRequirements 120VAC,15amp,50/60Hz(240VACavailableasanoption) MeasuringUnitDimensions 12”Widex12”Deepx32”Tall(305x305x815mm) ControllerDimensions 13”Widex12”Deepx7”Tall(330x305x180mm) *Descriptions&specificationsaresubjecttochangewithoutnotice  下載本目錄文件請使用PDF檔案程式TheModelSP-2A-DASBrochure isavailableforimmediatedownloadinginaPDFformat(598KB).
